What makes these the best trading classes in Pune for you
Most people learn charts backwards. They start with indicators, collect ten of them, and end up with a screen full of lines and no decision. In this course we start with price itself: what a candle tells you, where buyers and sellers keep showing up, and how a trend actually looks when it's healthy and when it's tired.
Only then do we add a few indicators, and only the ones that earn their place. Every week ends with a setup you can write down in plain words, with an entry, a stop and a target. You practise it on past market data until it feels routine. That's the whole point of these share market trading classes: a process you can repeat, not a tip you have to trust.
This course is for you if
- You know the basics of the market and want to read charts properly
- You've tried trading on gut feel and want a written process
- You want to start with swing or intraday trading later
- You're willing to practise for a few hours every week
It's not for you if
- You want someone to tell you what to buy
- You're looking for a quick daily income
- You won't use a stop loss
- You've never heard of a demat account (start with our beginner course)
How our trading classes in Pune are run
Small batches
Each batch has up to 15 students, so Sharad can look at everyone's charts. You sit in the classroom at Katraj, Pune, or join the same class live online. Questions are welcome at any point, in English or Marathi.
One idea per class
Every session covers one idea properly instead of ten ideas quickly. We explain it on the whiteboard, find it on past charts together, then turn it into a rule you can write down. You leave each class with one page of notes you'll actually use.
Practice between classes
Each week you mark up ten past charts and paper-trade the setup. At the Thursday doubt session we go through your sheets, including the ones where you got it wrong. That feedback is where most of the learning happens.

Technical analysis terms you'll learn to use
- Candlestick
- A bar that shows the open, high, low and close for a period. Its body and wicks tell you who was in control.
- Support
- A price area where buying has stopped falls before. It isn't a floor, just a place to watch closely.
- Resistance
- A price area where selling has capped rises before. Breaking it on good volume often matters.
- Breakout and retest
- Price moves through a level, then comes back to test it. The retest is often a calmer place to enter.
- Moving average
- The average closing price over a set number of days, drawn as a line. It smooths out noise and shows direction.
- RSI
- A momentum reading from 0 to 100. We use it to spot when a move is losing strength, not as a buy signal.
- MACD
- Two moving averages compared with each other. Useful for seeing when momentum is shifting.
- VWAP
- The average price weighted by volume for the day. Traders use it to judge whether they're buying cheap or expensive.
- Stop loss
- The price where your trade idea is proven wrong and you exit. It's decided before you enter, never after.
- R-multiple
- Your result measured in units of the risk you planned. A loss of 1R means you lost exactly what you planned to.
Walk through a real case, one line at a time
Every setup in class is written up on the same seven-line sheet and replayed on past data. This one lost money. We teach it anyway, because it shows why the plan matters more than the result.
- Market data at least 30 days old, per SEBI's education rules
- Losing trades on the board, not just the winners
- Paper-traded first, so the habit forms before real money
Before anything else, we describe the chart in plain words. Here the stock has made higher highs and higher lows for three months while the index went nowhere.
The price drifts back to its average and volume dries up. Sellers aren't pushing hard. This is the pullback setup we teach in module 6.
We don't buy the dip blindly. The entry only triggers if price trades above the previous day's high, which shows buyers stepping back in.
The stop goes just under the swing low. The gap between entry and stop is 3 points, so the position is sized to lose 1% of capital if it's hit.
Four days later, bad news for the sector. The stock opens at 104.6, already below our stop at 104.8. We exit at the open, as the plan says.
The loss was 1.1 times the planned risk. Not a disaster, because the position was sized properly. Without a stop, it could have been much worse.
The setup was fine. What we missed was a sector event that week. Now every swing plan in class includes a calendar check and a smaller size before known events.

Sharad Gaikwad
Sharad has traded US equities for more than ten years on professional desk platforms like Takion and Hammer. Reading price and volume was his day job. In class he teaches the same habits he used: plan first, size small, review everything.
"A chart won't tell you what happens next. It tells you where you're wrong. That's what you learn to trade around."
How to choose the best share trading classes in Pune
Ask any institute these six questions, including us. A good trading course will answer every one of them without hesitating.
Read our full comparison of Pune institutes →- 01 Is the syllabus written down? You should see every module and topic before you pay, not after.
- 02 Who is the trainer, and have they traded? A real name and background you can check. Ask what markets they've traded and for how long.
- 03 Do they promise returns or accuracy? Any claim like '90% accuracy' or 'earn daily' is a red flag. Markets don't work like that.
- 04 Do they trade live in class? Since July 2026, SEBI requires education to use data at least 30 days old. Live calls in class are a warning sign.
- 05 Will they show you losing trades? If every example is a winner, you're watching marketing, not learning.
- 06 Is there practice and feedback? Watching videos isn't enough. Ask how often your own charts get reviewed.
Are these the best trading classes in Pune for beginners?
They are built for people who already know the basics. If you have never used a chart, start with our Equity Market Basics course first. It covers shares, orders, indices and demat accounts. Many students take both courses back to back, and the demo class helps you decide where to start.
What will I be able to do after this technical analysis course?
You will be able to read a price chart on your own, mark the support and resistance levels that matter, choose a setup and write a trade plan with an entry, a stop loss and a target. You will also have a trade journal habit, so you can review what worked and what didn't.
How long is the trading course and what are the batch timings?
The course runs for 6 weeks, one module a week. Weekend batches meet on Saturday and Sunday, and weekday batches meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm. There is also a weekly one-hour online doubt session. New batches start every month.
Do you trade live in class?
No. SEBI's rules for market education require price data to be at least 30 days old, and we follow them. All practice uses past charts, and students paper-trade each setup before they think about using real money. This keeps the focus on the process instead of the next price move.
Is this course the same as intraday trading classes?
No. This course teaches you to read charts on any timeframe. Our intraday trading classes build on it with market timing, momentum, intraday stop losses and position sizing for trades that close the same day. Most students do technical analysis first and then pick intraday or swing trading.
Do I need to buy any trading software?
No. We use free charting and screening tools in class and show you how to set them up. A laptop is best for chart practice, but a phone is enough for the first two weeks. You don't need a paid data feed or any indicator package.
Can I join the stock trading classes online?
Yes. Every batch runs live online alongside the classroom, so you can ask questions in real time. All sessions are recorded and shared the same day. Online students get the same notes, assignments and doubt sessions as classroom students.
Is the course taught in Marathi?
Yes. Concepts are explained in Marathi and English, and you can ask questions in either language. Chart and indicator names stay in English, because that is how you will see them on every trading platform.
How do I get fee details for the trading course?
We share fee details at the free demo class or on WhatsApp, along with what the group and 1-to-1 plans include. Both plans include this course, the recordings, notes and doubt sessions. Instalments are available.
Do you give buy or sell calls after the course?
No. StockClassesPune is an education institute, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. We don't run tip groups or share stock recommendations. The whole point of the course is that you learn to make and review your own decisions.
